Beautifully produced 10th Anniversary Edition of the original 1958 Random House series. Detailed history of the U.S. Civil War, in Shelby Foote's inimitable style. Profusely illustrated in full color and black-and-white throughout. Apparently unread, spines still crackle. Sterling condition hardcover copies, with unbruised tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear. Textured tan cloth covers with navy lettering stamped to fronts and spines. Bright and shiny dust jackets, illustrated, showing only very minor wear excepted as noted, not price-clipped.
