Marbled end-papers, still tightly bound, but crimping to pages throughout and some staining thereto for the final ~20 pages. Some chipping to leather fore-edges. First published in Brussels in 1883, but authorship remains guesswork. No publication date listed, but appears to be late 1800s. Page block edges are darkened and one middle signature of pages is a little sprung though still sewn in tightly. On front pastedown are an owner's name stamp and a small label advertising E. L. Entrikin, Jeweler of Findlay, Ohio. Binding is square; hinges are strong; pages are clean and text is unmarked. 400 + ads.
