Sturdy, still tightly bound softcover copy, minor to moderate wear of covers and text-block, but with neither underlining nor highlighting. Perfectly readable, usable copy. Cookbook for children with color illustrations, supposedly by Gertrude Kay, and poetry by Ruth Plumly Thompson, of OZ fame. Pictorial wraps with rubbing and splitting along spine, corners creased , two corners chipped. Advertisement for Dr. Price's Phosphate Baking Powder on rear panel; this was most likely a giveaway for that item. Unpaginated. Signed bookplate on front free endpaper. Book is square, unfaded, and clean. In a dust jacket that is smudged on its faces and rubbed at its edges, with creases, short closed tears, and small chips. Black-and-white frontispiece and four full-page black-and-white illustrations by Elizabeth Pilsbry. Seventeen titles in series are listed on front flap and on back panel of dust jacket, with this title listing eighth on the flap and ninth on the back panel--so this would appear to be a later printing (but title page lists only eight titles, not including this one). Dust jacket is in a clear plastic protector. 224 pp. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
