Sefer Ha-Zohar, "Yeshivat Kol Yehunda" for the Dissemination of the Study of Kabbalah
1 Sefer Ha-Zohar, "Yeshivat Kol Yehunda" for the Dissemination of the Study of Kabbalah
Jerusalem Yeshivat Kol Yehuda, 1995 Hardcover As New Hardcover 4to 11" - 13" tall
Sterling 24-volume set in Hebrew and Aramaic languages, dedicated to the study of the Kabbalah. "Sefer ha-zohar," in Hebrew means ?Book of Splendour,? originally a text from the 13th-century manuscript, mostly in Aramaic, upon which the study and practice of Jewish mysticism, or Kabbala, is founded. A useful reference text notes that "Many Kabbalists, in fact, invested the Zohar with a sanctity that is normally accorded only to the Torah and the Talmud." All but Volume 1 are shrink-wrapped and pristine, and Volume 1 was taken out of shrink-wrap only so as to attempt to collate the set. Textured blue-gray covers with gilt lettering to fronts, red-labeled gilt lettering to spines. Volume 1 shows light foxing to edges and faint crease to spine, otherwise in Fine condition. Pages bright and clear. A truly beautiful set! Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
