Rubie's Costume Company, Incorporated: Costumes of Distinction
1 Rubie's Costume Company, Incorporated: Costumes of Distinction
New York, NY Rubie's Costume Company, Softcover Very Good- Softcover 4to 11" - 13" tall
Shiny gold paper binding with front cover cut-out framing first page photo of actors costumed for Annie Get Your Gun. Both covers have creases and are a little scuffed, so that some of the original shine is gone. Rear cover has a wrinkle and a 1/4" closed tear at its top edge. Binding is tight and unfaded; pages are unmarked. Catalog is stored in a protective clear plastic bag. Undated, probably mid-1970's--the introduction mentions the death of the company's founder, Rubin Beige, in 1972. More than a costume catalog for the stage, Rubie's catalog offers make-up, stage lighting equipment, Santa suits, and costumes for sports mascots. Fascinating to look through if you enjoy the world of the theater. 118 pp. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
