	1	Stabler, William A Memoir of the Life of Edward Stabler Late of Alexandria in the District of Columbia, with a collection of his letters Philadelphia John Richards, 1846 First Hard Cover Fair with no dust jacket 312 p. This is a fair but fairly sturdy copy in the original full leather and with laced bindings. Written by his son, this memoir is of Edward Stabler, a member of the Society of Friends, and who lived in various places throughout Virginia. Cover is chipped a bit, the tips are broken and bruised a bit, and there is extensive foxing throughout, as one might expect, given the age of the volume. Previous owner's inscription in pencil appears in the second free page. End-papers are noticeably darker than the remainder, and the bottom corner of the first three pages are stained slightly. The remainder of the text displays foxing, but there is no underlining or other marks. There is also foxing on end papers. Needs to handled with care, but is in pretty good condition overall.
