This is a very sturdy and attractive and interesting copy, meant "for libraries and personal use in arranging for immediate reference books, pamflets, clippings, pictures, manuscript notes and other material." Two spelling mistakes on the title page, e.g., "Relativ" and "ful." This is the edition revised from the fifth edition to "correspond to the few changes in meaning of numbers in ful tables," handled by Dorkas Fellows, Editor and Myron Warren Getchell, Associate Editor. Brown cloth, with some light soiling of first couple of pages and penciled in inscription from the previous owner: Fern Stitzel, Graduate Dorm #407, 1936." An interesting tissue-paper is laid in, too, from the Library School of the George Peabody College for Teachers, given to "Miss Doyle" in Winter of 1937 and the six books assigned to her, and then also a two-page assignment, stapled, set in to the rear of the book. Black lettering on spine & on front within black bordering. Some slight bumping of corners, and some soiling of spine and rear cover and rear paste-down. Otherwise, the text is clean and the binding is tight, and the pages are surprisingly bright. Overall, an attractive copy.
