Blue Jacket Books offers a carefully selected inventory of used and out-of-print books in many fields, including the arts and sciences, poetry and prose, social sciences and humanities. We carry rare, antiquarian, and collectible items, as well as books for pleasure reading and research. Most of our inventory is used, but we have a selection of new titles of local and special interest, as well as a line of inexpensive editions of classic literature and Dover children's activity and coloring books. We regularly purchase libraries, estates, and personal book collections, as well as individual books of value.
We are located in a Civil War-era building in historic downtown Xenia, Ohio, about 20 minutes east of Dayton. There are about 30,000 books on the store shelves, and new arrivals come in every day. The vast majority of our inventory is not listed on line, including most of our inexpensive paperbacks, so if you can't find what you're looking for on the website, we invite you to contact us directly. We are always happy to search for out-of-print books for you, and we are doubly happy to place your school-book orders for you.
